The Trench Run scene from Star Wars is an iconic moment of cinema. Exterior shots of the tension-packed climax were done using highly detailed models — including this one. One of only two Y-wing HERO models made for the film, it was dubbed the "TIE Killer" thanks to the small TIE Fighter "kill" marking at the front of the nose, and has been screen-matched to a profile shot of the two Y-wings flying in formation down the trench. As it has never been on public display or exposed to UV daylight, it is in remarkable condition for an item of its age and arrives with a Certificate of Authenticity from Heritage Auctions.
